APPAREL DESIGN

Apparel design allows me to combine my passion for creativity with my interest in fashion. I enjoy the challenge of translating ideas and concepts into designs that people can wear and connect with. For me, it’s not just about creating something visually striking; it’s about designing pieces that express personality and resonate with the wearer. Each project is an opportunity to push my boundaries and create something unique and innovative in the world of design.

I had the opportunity to work on the graphic design for Lynchburg CrossFit’s "Battle on Bedford" event, held on May 4th. With a fun Star Wars theme, my role was to create visuals that captured the energy of both the competition and the iconic sci-fi universe. From event posters to social media graphics, I aimed to blend the intensity of CrossFit with the excitement of the Star Wars saga, giving the event a unique, and eye catching, engaging look.

I had the pleasure of helping my friend Sonia with her beauty and skincare brand, Zahra Beauty, where I provided design support to bring her vision to life. From crafting a cohesive visual identity to developing product packaging, I worked closely with her to ensure the designs reflected the brand’s values of elegance, natural beauty, and self-care. It was incredibly rewarding to contribute to a project that empowers others to feel confident and beautiful in their skin.

2024

I was tasked with designing the poster for the senior capstone art show, where I had the opportunity to create all the artists as selectable characters. My goal was to reflect the creativity and talent of the graduating class while keeping the design clean, professional, and eye-catching. This project allowed me to showcase my design skills in a high-visibility setting, contributing to an important milestone for the students involved.

2ND HAND HEROES
REDESIGN

During my graphic design internship at 2nd Hand Heroes, I had the chance to redesign their logo, giving it a fresh, modern look while staying true to the brand’s identity. I worked closely with the team to ensure the new design captured the essence of their mission. Additionally, I contributed to the brand’s social media presence by creating engaging graphics that aligned with their voice and audience. This experience allowed me to hone my design skills while learning how to effectively communicate a brand's message across multiple platforms.
